Your Parish council = The closest tier of government to you. The voice of local people.
This site enables you to catch up on how your Parish Council is serving you. These pages include all the minutes of Parish Council Meetings. If there is anything that you feel the Council should be aware of or where it can help or support you, then please contact the Parish Council.
The Council depends on the participation of residents to make its work effective and relies on them to provide its membership.
The Council generally meets at 7.15pm on the 3rd Wednesday of January, March, May, July, September & November in the Betteridge Room, Sedgeberrow Village Hall. All meetings are advertised on the noticeboards and emailed to anyone who has subscribed to the email Newsletter.
Residents have the right, and are most welcome, to attend all meetings. At Ordinary Meetings of the Council, time is set aside for members of the public to raise any matter of concern under agenda item ‘Open Forum’.
County and District Councillors representing the Ward make formal reports to the Parish Council at Ordinary Meetings.
Please subscribe to our email Newsletter to receive news and agendas of up and coming meetings.
The Parish Council needs and welcomes feedback from all ages – please do not hesitate to phone, email or write. Remember, this is your Parish Council!
